Art and other home decor are arranged in beautiful displays, like the one pictured left, inside the shop.

Kate Barr opened Kate Carlyle in 2000 and operated the business for 20 years until she decided she was ready to sell. Although Barr had to close the charming store during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tammy Philips bought the gift boutique and took over in early 2021. Kate Carlyle is still a successful business serving the Greenville community with specialized gifts, home décor, treats, and excellent service.
